JetStor 826FXD All Flash Array from AC&NC Available on GSA Contract #GS-35F-0694J

November 28th, 2016 - by Advanced Computer & Network Corp. | Share on:

AC&NC, a provider of leading RAID/Hybrid Flash/All Flash storage solutions, today introduced the JetStor 826FXD All Flash Array available on GSA Contract #GS-35F-0694J. The platform features dual active controllers, Intel's newest 5th-generation D1500 Quad core processor with up to 64GB RAM per controller, DDR4 system memory, the latest 12Gb SAS 3.0 technology, onboard high speed 10GbE LAN ports, and the latest JetStor SANOS 4.0 SAN management software.

The 2U, 26-bay JetStor 826FXD RAID array offers extremely fast CPUs, delivers over 250K IOPS, and scales to over 4.4 petabytes of raw storage, making it ideal for a wide range of business and transactional processing needs. These include: big data, HPC, and Hadoop applications; Oracle and SQL databases; virtualization and VDI; CCTV; and backups and archiving.

"With high-speed, data-intensive applications becoming commonplace, even among smaller firms, as well as the processing of large files in such industries as media and healthcare, the all-flash JetStor 826FXD array is an unmatched combination of performance, price, and scalability," said Gene Leyzarovich, president of AC&NC. "No other solution more affordably offers such speed in an all-flash platform with multi-petabyte scalability."

The Next-Generation of All-Flash Storage
The JetStor 826FXD chassis provides key features like thin provisioning, snapshots, local clone and remote replication, and virtualization support for VMware VAAI, Microsoft Hyper-V ODX, KVM, and Citrix. Its dual-active controller architecture enables both controllers to concurrently provide storage services in real time. Active-Active architecture doubles the available host bandwidth and cache hit ratio, ensuring the greatest utilization of system resources and maximum throughput. If one controller fails, the other controller transparently takes over all storage services. In addition to storage services, management services can transparently pass to the secondary controller.

The JetStor array offers high availability with no single point of failure. All critical components are hot pluggable and engineered with full redundancy. Thanks to this robust design, this system can withstand multiple component failures and achieves 99.999% availability.
