Bowen, Collins, & Associates Receives Small Job from Forest Service

August 17th, 2015 - by Bowen, Collins, & Associates | Share on:

The Sawtooth National Forest in Boise, ID awarded the small business contractor Bowen, Collins, & Associates a $13,973.00 contract for survey services on the 17th of August. The project is scheduled to begin immediately and conclude at the end of April in 2016.

Bowen, Collins, & Associates was able to achieve the contract award through an indefinite contract, first awarded in May of 2015. This marks the first major job that the small Utah based firm has worked with the Forest Service directly.

The specific details of the project/order include a historical survey of the Wood River Recreation Residence.

Craig Bagley of the firm says, "We are very excited to be working on the project. This brings a lot of prestige to our company and much needed revenues. Working with the government can be a competitive process, but we feel it will be well worth it. Having worked on as sub for other contractors, it's a new animal to be doing direct work as a prime."
