Veterans Health System Agrees to Supplemental Agreement of Work with Mid-Atlantic Security

The Department of Veteran Affairs of Gainsville, FL awarded the veteran-owned contractor Mid-Atlantic Security Agency, LLC a $1,098,510.82 extension for security guard services on the 6th of April. The contract is scheduled to continue through to the end of September 2015.

Mid-Atlantic gained the contract through delivery order that it originally gained in October 2014 through its Schedule 84 contract, originally valued at $2,129,830.14. A relatively new direct contractor -- having started as a prime in 2011, the small business has proven itself as a solid source of patrol services for both the VA and the Department of Health and Human Services. It brings a versatile assortment of services including:
- Armed Guards
- Unarmed Guards
- Fire Watch Patrol
- Roving Patrol
- Alarm Monitors
- Baggage Screeners
- Construction Site Security Monitoring
- Protective Service Officers
- Off-Duty Police Officers
- Court Security Officers
- Special Police Officers
- Dentention Officers
- Alarm System Monitoring
- Computerized Patrol System Monitoring
- Criminal History Back ground Checking
