The Bureau of Land Management contracted the woman-owned, 8(a) firm called A R Group LLP on July 30th to conduct a Fact Finding Investigation involving personnel practices in order to evaluate process and policy compliance with respect to multiple employee selections. One of a couple of projects the Colorado-based firm is working on for the Bureau, it's estimated at $14,386.70.
A R Group gained the contract through the electronic RFP/RFQ system known as eBuy, which it gained access to once obtaining a GSA schedule contract back in December of 2014. A relatively new contractor, A R Group has really started to gain traction in the government market as of late -- especially with its strong set-aside presence.
Began by Victoria Aguilar in 2009, the firm specializes in providing government agencies with professional support in conjunction with conducting EEO Investigations, EEO and Non EEO related Fact Finding Investigations and Organizational Assessments as well as various HR compliance projects (e.g., classification, policy drafting, mediation, etc.)
As Aquilar notes, "We are a team of professionals with decades of experience investigating and managing Title VII complaints, conducting fact-findings and mediations, and drafting related affidavits, investigative plans, and reports of investigation. We look forward to expanding in the government market."
