The Federal Bureau of Investigation awarded a contract valued at $372,000.00 to the Virginia-based, minority-firm called 6K Systems. A high clearance job, the project entails providing two document analysts to restructure shredded evidence in counterterrorism, criminal, and counterintelligence cases.
Not a novice in the government contracting arena, 6K Systems has a myriad of different contracting vehicles and contracting programs at its disposal, include two FSS contracts, an 8(a) certification, and the contract vehicle used in this job -- the FBI SOAPS (Solutions for Administrative and Program Services) Contract. 6K Systems gained the SOAPS back in April 2014, and has used it quite extensively in serving the FBI's needs.
Founded in February of 2002 by Bryan Crittenton, the company provides an array of offerings. As Crittenton puts it, "We specialize in high-end IT services, management consulting, learning management, and administrative service. We are focused on providing top-tier services to our government entities -- particularly at the federal level."
6K Systems can be contacted through its website (www.6KSYSTEMS.com) or by phone (703-724-1320).
