Long-time, hand truck manufacturer Harper Trucks, Inc. was recently awarded a five-year, Federal Supply Schedule contract from the GSA. Around since 1940, Harper Trucks has actually been a bit of mainstay in the government market as it has a network of distributors -- such as Cisco-Eagle -- with strong relationships within the government and actually held a schedule in the mid-90's to early-2000s, gaining hefty orders from agencies like the DLA.

Having gone some time focusing on its distribution channel, Harper Trucks decided it best to re-enter the direct market. Obviously, we had excellent assistance this time around in securing the schedule through a company called Government Marketplace that made it almost effortless, but despite the initial difficulty, we hope the efforts will go in aiding the government buyer."
