Government Marketplace Helps California Overland, Ltd. Enter Government Arena

For nearly 15 years, the family-owned California Overland, Ltd. has been successfully hauling loads and providing excellent logistics services. They've operated in all 48 of the contiguous United States and Canada, provided all manner of transport including tanker and refrigerated options, and hauled everything from ice cream to hefty equipment.
In fact, so successful has California Overland been, the Minnesota Trucking Association awarded them a Safety Plaque (only 14 companies awarded each year), and even won the "Grand Trophy for Fleet Safety" -- the overarching award only given to one company by the association. All this achievement, and all this prestige, but the next chapter for California Overland brings it into the government market.
Utilizing the services of Government Marketplace, LLC, California Overland entered the government arena with a bang -- achieving all the initial registrations such as the SAM, but also getting registered with FEMA and becoming a Transportation Service Provider (TSP) for the General Services Administration.
"It's a new territory," says Rory Ostgulen, vice president of sales for California Overland. "However, we are a quality carrier who cares about our drivers and the equipment we drive. We look after every client to the utmost, and that will not change with the government. We're a small, family-owned business, but we are eager for the challenge. I believe it will be a mutually beneficial relationship coming in the future."
