Woman-Owned EDP Produces Training Video for NASA

December 20th, 2016 - by Effective Digital Presentations | Share on:

To help the human resources departments of large client organizations reduce travel and classroom training costs for their new employees, Effective Digital Presentations, Inc. (EDP) has produced multiple new hire training videos with an emphasis on ease of use and ease of access. All videos are 508 compliant with closed captioning included and suitable for hosting and distribution on YouTube channels or company websites.

EDP produced a 60-minute series of videos entitled, "Welcome to NASA." The videos covered 15 separate topics including information on forms to complete prior to an employee's first day, forms to bring with them on their first day, health benefits, life insurance benefits, and retirement plans, just to name a few.

All training videos produced for NASA were filmed in EDP's green screen studio in Davenport, Iowa. Professional actors were filmed in front of the screen and then placed into a virtual 3D news desk/news studio setting designed by EDP's animators and artists.

The collaborative efforts of the NASA Video Team and EDP for these projects resulting in the Group Achievement Award from NASA.

The content of these training videos is adaptable to many other federal government agencies and large contractors, and in fact, EDP has already been working with the USDA Forest Service to produce similar HR topic training videos for their employees.

Effective Digital Presentations, Inc. is a small woman-owned business serving a national and international list of clients including some of the largest federal government agencies such as US Army, USDA Forest Service and the Department of Veterans Affairs. They can be contacted via their website (www.edpvideo.com), by email (info@edpvideo.com), or by phone at 563-650-4862.
