COGAR Has Started New Homeland Security Federal Protective Services Contract in Puerto Rico

The COGAR Group, Ltd. (COGAR) put "boots on the ground," and began the first day of standing up the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service - Protective Security Officers Customs and Border Protection Facilities in Puerto Rico contract (Contract. # HSHQE2-14-D-00004). COGAR performs services at 16 CBP facilities with 26 posts spread out over 100 miles across the island.
Over 90 COGAR security personnel provide 24/7 guard services for the Department of Homeland Security Federal Protective Service. They perform access control services in the following U.S. Customs and Border Protection locations throughout Puerto Rico: San Juan, Fajardo, Ponce, Aguadilla, Ceiba and Mayaguez.
