The COGAR Group Awarded USACE Armed Security Guard Contracts for Humphrey's Engineering Center

The COGAR Group, Ltd. (COGAR), a leading security and protection services firm, announces that the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) has awarded the firm with two contracts to perform armed security guard services at the Humphrey's Engineering Center (HEC) in Alexandria, VA.

COGAR personnel provide 24/7 armed security guard services for USACE HEC. COGAR provides security protection for multiple buildings and posts via roving patrols, access/visitor control, surveillance camera and alarm monitoring, and emergency assistance support. COGAR provides a highly trained guard unit of over 25 individuals for these requirements.

The COGAR Group, Ltd. was awarded both contracts via a sole source selection, direct award negotiations process. The contracts include a base and all option periods valued at over $4.0 mil. COGAR was tasked to transition these follow-on contracts within a thirty (30) day period with a contract start date of October 30, 2015. COGAR has a long standing history of providing professional security services to the military and federal government since 2005. COGAR is proud to partner with USACE on this sensitive requirement.
