Minority-Owned Energy Equipment & Control, Inc. Secures Contract with Department of State

Energy Equipment & Control (EECI), a small disadvantaged GSA contract holder for Schedule 84 products was awarded a second large order to supply York chiller parts to the Department of State - U.S. Embassy Rangoon. York International is now a division of Johnson Controls Inc., for which EECI is a factory authorized distributor. EECI also distributes a full line of controls and parts for all major HVAC controls and equipment brands and serves Federal, state, and local government facilities. This is the second large parts order to be awarded to EECI by the Embassy of Rangoon over the last 2 years totaling over $150,000.00.

Joe Vitale, EECI inside Sales Engineer worked diligently to help the embassy convert obsolete part numbers to current functional replacements. Mr. Vitale said: "It has been a real pleasure working with this embassy and helping them fill their critical cooling parts needs. We look forward to working with this and other Federal Agencies in the future."
