Texas Creative, Ltd. Hired to Design Book for the US Army Medical Department

August 8th, 2017 - by Texas Creative, Ltd. | Share on:

The team at Texas Creative was engaged by AMEDD Center and School located at Ft. Sam Houston in San Antonio to provide the design and layout a 250 page, hard bound book, to commemorate the history of the U.S. Army Medical Department life-saving training from the years of 1920 to 2010.

Working with Adriane Askins Neidinger, AMEDDC&S Command Historian, and her team of researchers, archivists, volunteers, service members, museum specialists and civilian co-workers, Texas Creative worked hard to bring her text and research together in a brilliant book to meet the objective given to her by MG David A. Rubenstein.

Much of this material was aging in scrapbooks, files and memories of those who served or were trained at AMEDDC&S over the years. Although the story continues, Texas Creative has captured the essence of the important work done by The U.S. Army Medical Department Center & School.

Scope of work: Design, production, layout, proofing, photo editing, copy editing, project management, print cost estimating, print production management, file archiving.
