Minority, Woman-Owned BETAH Associates, Inc. Finalizes Two-Year Contract with NINR

November 15th, 2016 - by BETAH Associates, Inc. | Share on:

As fiscal year 2016 drew to a close, BETAH Associates, Inc. concluded a two-year contract with the National Institute of Nursing Research (NINR), part of the National Institutes of Health. BETAH provided communications services in support of NINR's Palliative Care: Conversations Matter® campaign, which aims to increase awareness and use of pediatric palliative care. By focusing on materials for families of children with serious illnesses, BETAH's contract complemented prior campaign materials that targeted providers.

A literature review, messaging workshop, and #pedpc Twitter chat were among the services provided by BETAH. The team also developed testing surveys and prepared OMB packages, translated materials to Spanish, performed Section 508 compliance, and coordinated a radio media tour during National Nurses Week to promote the campaign. Products delivered included a Family Information Kit, Campaign Outreach Kit, website collateral, and an animated video explaining pediatric palliative care.

All materials are now available from NINR at http://ninr.nih.gov/conversationsmatter.
