Gibsonia, PA: Tom Crea addressed the importance of good communication skills with the Pennsylvania Professional Employment Network (PAPEN) North. PAPEN is a Pittsburgh-based networking organization that helps participants advance their careers.
Good communication continues to rank among every employer's most desired skills. They include verbal and non-verbal, as well as written and listening skills. In his "Relate and Communicate" session, Tom discussed the importance of recognizing communication styles. He shared how participants could learn to read 19 signals to identify another person's style, enabling you connect with others and develop necessary relationships for success.
Loved this session! I'm going to re-evaluate my approach to folks where there have been relationship challenges in the past.
