HHS Awards Contract to Federated IT, Inc. for Technology Support Services

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) awarded Federated IT a contract for technology support services. This contract affords HHS a variety of technology capabilities to HHS, including SharePoint development and Website Development services.
At the Secretary's Operations Center, Federated IT was integral in the planning, development, and now rollout of a HHS Office of Emergency Management (OEM) tool called the GeoHEALTH Platform (geohealth.hhs.gov). This tool collects data from federal, state, and local agency sources, as well as from nongovernmental organizations (NGOs), and maps them in an interactive, single visual environment, allowing all the agencies to collaborate in planning their responses to national or local emergencies.
The customer highlighted Federated IT's work as "exceptional," stating that "The development and roll-out of the GeoHEALTH Platform would not have been possible without their support."
Federated IT also delivers Watch Officer support at HHS for major weather and public health news makers. Federated IT worked closely with the Regional Emergency Coordinators for Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) regions in the South to ensure any needed State requests went through to the proper leadership. Federated is proud to have boots on the ground helping those in need.
