Federated IT provided critical Security Threat Analysis and adjudications support for TSA programs requiring DHS credentialing in support of the transportation industry. This demanding mission required responsible, accurate processing of more than 400,000 suitability cases annually for 1.5M transportation workers.

Federated IT helped TSA build the facility and re-host the programs for Chemical Facility Anti-Terrorism Surveys, Aviation Workers, Maritime Workers, the Alien Flight Student Program, and others. This complex Cost Plus Award fee required Federated IT to successfully pass a DCAA Audit approving our cost accounting practices as suitable for the contract. Upon conclusion, this contract totaled more than $35M in goods and services ranging from Security Threat Analysis to Computer Facilities Management.

Federated IT's subject matter expertise was so critical to the sustainment of the program that TSA provided additional sole source funding for another year as DHS worked to convert the program into a singularly federal employee responsibility. Federated IT competently worked hand-in-hand every step of the way, which impelled its Contracting Officer to submit Federated IT for the coveted DHS Small Business Achievement Award; Federated IT won the award in 2015, which brought its totals for federal contracting beyond $250M since 2004.
