OpenFrame Technologies has provided IT services to architect, design, document, develop, test, and deploy the APGIS system components, as well as integrate their functional and technical characteristics into a logical 12-tier comprehensive, interoperable and evolving business software system with Visual Studio .NET 2010/2012/2105/2017 SQL Server 2008/2012/2014/2017 and Oracle 11g R2 / 12c Relational Databases, with post-productions maintenance services included project management, release planning, solution architecture, object-oriented and component-based design, software solution development, QA testing and deployment of the solution to the Production environment, assisting the clients in achieving operational excellence through the adoption of customer focused, process oriented, cost effective approaches to IT service delivery.

The OpenFrame Technologies project team applied the international standard ISO/IEC 12207 for Software Life-cycle Processes to define all the tasks required for developing and maintaining software system: business system analysis, requirements definition, iteration and release planning, implementation cycles, quality controls, deployment and delivery, post-production maintenance and support, is crucial for IT project successful delivery.

The OpenFrame Technologies project team established a new framework of repeatable and predictable SDLC and constantly applies its processes that improved productivity and quality, systematized and formalized software production, along with applying project management techniques to software projects to be delivered within timeframes and budget, meeting client's expectations in terms of functionality, cost, or delivery schedule.

The OpenFrame Technologies system development life cycle framework provided a sequence of activities for system designers and developers to follow. It consisted of a set of steps or phases in which each phase of the SDLC uses the results of the previous one.

These stages can be characterized and divided up in different ways, including the following:
1. Preliminary analysis: The objective of phase 1 was to conduct a preliminary analysis, propose alternative solutions, describe costs and benefits and submit a preliminary plan with recommendations. In this step, we discovered the DFO's objectives and the nature and scope of the problem under study. Alternate proposals came from interviewing employees, clients, suppliers, and/or consultants describing costs and benefits.
2. Systems analysis and requirements definition: We defined project goals into defined functions and operation of the intended application, and analyzed end-user information needs.
3. Systems design: We described desired features and operations in detail, including screen layouts, business rules, process diagrams, pseudo-code and other documentation.
4. Development: The real code was written - for 12 system layers (UI, UI Metadata, Data Access, Business Domain, Business Rules, System Metadata, Security, Reporting, etc) and the database. Also a system design was proved and adjusted when needed.
5. Integration and testing: The team brought all the components together and integrated them into a testing environment, to provide Quality Assurance, integration testing, and interoperability.
6. Acceptance, installation, deployment: The final stage of initial development involved the APGIS software system being put into production and supporting actual business processes.
7. Maintenance: OpenFrame Technologies provided technical support during the post-production phase making sure the solution is stable and reliable.
