Veteran-Owned Orbis Technologies, Inc. Awarded US Patent for 3-Term Semantic Search

On November 21, 2017, Orbis Technologies, Inc. was awarded a U.S. Patent entitled, "Systems and Methods for 3-Term Semantic Search" (U. S. Patent No. 9,824,138). This patent recognizes a next generation semantic approach to information retrieval at enterprise scale. In contrast to simple keyword or phrase based searching, this advancement yields far greater accuracy by identifying similar content and/or relationships between documents.
The patent announcement is Orbis' second of the year. It follows April's patent award, for "Data Center Analytics and Dashboard," which coincided with the announcement of Orbis' merger with RSI Content Solutions. This is Orbis' sixth patent relating to semantic technology implementation.
